
Stephanie Blais, PA-C is a dedicated physician assistant with extensive clinical training across surgical, emergency, orthopedic, and primary care settings. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. Throughout her training, Stephanie developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care, evidence-based medicine, and collaborative clinical decision-making.
Stephanie brings valuable experience in both inpatient and outpatient environments, with advanced exposure to surgical care, emergency medicine, and orthopedic surgery. During her general surgery rotation, she evaluated patients with complex surgical conditions, participated in perioperative management, and accumulated more than 100 hours of operating room experience assisting in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical procedures. Her clinical background also includes emergency medicine at a Level I trauma center, where she gained experience managing acute medical and traumatic conditions while performing a variety of bedside procedures.
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Stephanie worked for more than three years with Texas Orthopedics Sports and Rehabilitation Associates, serving as both a medical assistant and medical scribe. In these roles, she assisted with orthopedic procedures, casting and splinting, injection preparation, patient documentation, and care coordination across multiple clinic locations. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and comprehensive patient care.
Known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and commitment to clinical excellence, Stephanie is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based care. She values building strong relationships with patients and believes in educating individuals so they can confidently participate in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of clinical practice, Stephanie has contributed to medical research, co-authoring a peer-reviewed publication in Acta Physiologica, and remains committed to lifelong learning and professional development. She maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Stop the Bleed.
